The singer/songwriter Jessie J from the UK is heating up the UK music charts with her No. 1 single "Price Tag." Her first US single "Like A Dude" gave the world a tough first impression, letting everyone know that she can do it just like a dude can. She is by no means a newcomer to the music industry though, having written "Party In The USA" for Miley Cyrus and songs for many other artists. Her second US single "Price Tag" features B.O.B. and has a relaxed boom box rhythm to it. Throughout the video she's seen riding a tricycle, portraying a ballerina, and a puppet while at the same time, dressed to kill. Soon enough it's made clear that no matter how much money you have or don't have, having a good time shouldn't mean burning a whole in your wallet or taking yourself too seriously. From her outlook on life through her lyrics, and her soulful voice, down to her skin tight leggings and 7-inch heels, she is definitely making a name for herself as an artist. I'm very excited to hear and see what Jessie J has to bring to America.
